Notes for Israel CLARK


See Descendants of Matthais Hetfield, p. 68. The majority of information on
this line from M. Fleury 4/96. Israel died of apoplexy. According to the notes
made by Rev. Hatfield at NYHS Israel died at 29 Charlton St. in NYC. Greaves
comments that "he was a master mason in N.Y. City and lived and died there.
He and his wife were members of the old Spring Street Presbyterian Church."
Israel joined the Westfield Presbyterian Church in 1819 with his brother Job.
