Notes for Matthias CLARK

Matthias Clark was born in New York City, but lived in Westfield most of his
life. He was at one time in the grocery business in Westfield. He served in
the Union Army during the Civil War. Letters written by Matthais during the
Civil War may be at the Alexander Library at Rutgers University.
Lived in Westfield as widower 1880. Perhaps married twice?
